What will you do

Experience on product lines like CRS-1/CRS-3/CRS-X, GSR 12000, 7600, ASR9K/ASR1K, 7200, Catalyst 6500/4500/3850 . Engineer must be very experienced in using the latest ASR9K line cards and must have internal product and/or Architecture knowledge.

3-10 years of experience in Network Implementation with hands-on experience in installing, configuring and managing the following-

  1. L2/L3 technologies and Protocols- STP, VTP, ARP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP etc.

  2. Working experience on Cisco Hardware- Catalyst switches/ASR routers.

  3. Good understanding on QOS, Multicast, Route filtering (ACL, VACL, Prefix list etc.)

  4. Working experience on Nexus (3k, 9k), IOS XR(ASR), NCS is plus.

  5. Strong trouble shooting skills is desired.

  6. Strong communication skills.

  7. Flexible working hours (weekend change windows)

Come join the Migration team in the GDC focusing on all SP and Enterprise technologies as a Consulting Engineer, Services. We need a creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and rapidly responding to escalated issues. With a seasoned mix of broad and deep networking knowledge and specific area expertise, as well as excellent Customer Relationship Management skills, you're well positioned to become a trusted advisor capable of building solid, long-term relationships with customers. If you have third party (non-cisco) knowledge then it is a definite plus.

Excellent technical capabilities and a well-established background in the network Implementation arena are required for this role. Candidate should have a genuine interest in and proven capability to migrate/implement medium to large size LAN/WAN.
