Cisco Customer Experience Platform Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer who can help us Design and develop state of art cloud applications development. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Web based Enterprise systems and the related technology. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with good technical skills to put their abilities to work in an exciting growth environment.

You will work with a team of motivated A-players on the Business Critical Services offering to

Execute the solution and feature development of the BCS portfolio and related applications.

Develop high end solutions for customer problems like Syslog processing and analysing

Building Microservices for high speed stream data processing and alarm generations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams at various stages of software development.

Promote and cultivate team spirit and culture across the global team built on open communication, collaboration, teamwork, trust and integrity.

In still a laser-sharp focus on quality while meeting the release cadence

Who You'll Work With

You’ll be a core member of the BCS team responsible for building state of art applications. BCS helps customers to the analyse their network

and predict network failures and take actions to resolve. This includes customer knowledge capture, understanding Cisco software release trains, integrating

proactive analysis from network engineers and maximize reuse across customers. Involves automated generation of network recommendation reports.

BCS team is involved in end to end architecture, development and testing of this complete cloud hosted application leveraging latest technologies. Team

maintains a strong interlock with customer facing network engineers and integrates value added features into the applications.

Who You Are

You should have the passion for technology and passion for learning. Around 8+ years of experience in technology industry with

at least 2+ years in cloud technologies and Java.

You have worked in an engineering team and know how to foster an open, transparent, supportive culture.

You have a good understanding of Microservices architecture, Cloud computing, NoSQL databases,.

You have a deep understanding of modern front-end technologies.

You are highly organized and are excellent at following through with commitments.

You care deeply about product quality and user impact.

Good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills to recruit and motivate a team of highly skilled engineers.

Direct experience with Agile Development, CI-CD tools and project tracking tools

Technical experience in Java, Go/Python, Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker

Strong knowledge of Cloud platforms such as AWS
