Key responsibilities of the role:

• As a Management Consulting Manager, you will be at the core of understanding and responding to our clients' business challenges. You will be part of the Leadership Team for a group of more than 220 management consulting resources providing MC services to Accenture’s global Resources clients.

Experience:

• 10 - 15 years of consulting or industry experience in the Resources industry with focus on manufacturing operations, hydrocarbon supply chain and worker productivity in the Oil & Gas industry

• Master's Degree or Technical/Business disciplines (PhD or MBA is a plus)

• Experience in the below areas:

• Downstream Refining Offerings around Digital Prodcution (Production Planning & Scheduling, Plant Operations, Mass & Energy Balance), Digital Supply Chain (Primary Distribution Planning & Scheduling, Terminal Operations, Secondary Distrbution) & Digital Worker (Digital Turnaournd, Refinery Industrail Pervasive Wifi, etc.)

• Identify and quantify cutting edge industry specific digital disruption opportunities for Oil & Gas clients through convergence of analytics & digital capability around plant worker, manufacturing operations & hydrocarbon supply chain

• Develop capabilities in terms of resources, knowledge assets, thought leadership / Point of views around digital plant that provide a competitive advantage to Accenture

• Lead team in responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs) as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), solution architect, etc

• Liaise with Accenture internal stakeholders globally (Client Account Leads, Capability Leads, global SMEs, etc.) to plan and build capabilities in line with future client demand

• Responsible to ensure that the team is fruitfully engaged in either chargeable work with clients or supporting business development / asset development work

• Strong and proven experience in client engagement during the entire lifecycle of the engagement

• Strong and proven leadership skills in developing a practice, preferably in the management consulting space

• Demonstrate a strong track record of solving complex business issues and delivering client satisfaction

• Negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex issues with clients and internal stakeholders

Working Conditions:

• Base location in India (Gurgaon/Mumbai/Bangalore) as primary place to work

• Willing to work at client locations mostly across Europe, Africa, America and other locations, for short or long term

• Willing to travel min 70% (annual) of time and could be more. Travel is required and may be 80%-100%
