Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Second Level Operations Specialist that will be responsible for the coordination, management, execution and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support than offered by the 1st level Operations. This person shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.

Support Engineer in 2nd Level Assurance VAS team. The role is to support into production the Ericsson GMPC, PG, IPWorks AAA, Nobil SMSC, TSs and NTPs nodes of the Ericsson Device Connection Platform (machine-to machine services).

Responsibilities:

You will help with Assurance support activities

  • To manage the Ericsson DCP VAS area within the service domain of our clients; this includes:

  • Troubleshooting of DCP VAS components: GMPC, PG, IPWorks AAA, Nobil SMSC, TSs and NTPs

  • Administration and monitoring of DCP VAS components
  • Management and implementation of new automatic scripts
  • Verify and support implementation of configuration changes at the request of the customer or when is needed for performance reasons
  • Impact analysis for standard/emergency changes
  • Coordinate and work together with other teams such as: 3nd line of support, engineering, R&D;
  • Provide work instructions and improvements of the processes
  • Actively participate and contribute in the problem management process when necessary
  • Cover 24x7 On Call duty on request in to support the 1st level assurance teams
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) or
  • 3-5 years’ experience of deploy system test and lead testing team.
  • ISEB/ISTQB software testing qualifications would be an advantage
