Can you build AI solutions to solve some of the biggest challenges in society? At SAS we are working with governments to improve child well-being by preventing maltreatment, to increase government revenue by detecting fraudulent behavior in tax-related matters, and to make case handling more efficient by collecting and enriching case data.
If you are able to manipulate voluminous data with different degree of structuring across disparate sources to generate and communicate actionable insights for internal or external parties, you may just be the person we are looking for.
DATA SCIENTIST
with knowledge or experiences in predictive analytics and text analytics. Anything else such as machine learning, knowledge discovery in databases, optimization, statistical theory, experimentation and/or time series analysis are a definite plus.
But the most important is your role as an analytics translator with the ability to understand data science concepts and how they can be applied to solve business challenges as well as being able to communicate complex terms in a simple way.
Your tasks will include building models and applications like
machine learning models to prescribe best treatment/action for children at risk
text analytics application to automatically categories hundreds of thousands of case-files
statistical models to detect dangerous, fraudulent and non-compliant behavior
We expect you to:
Participate in delivering state-of-the-art AI solutions to government customers in the Nordic countries
Build working prototypes of solutions to showcase our capabilities in a wide range of areas
Participate in preparing and delivering presentations and demos that articulate a solution capability
Help present solutions in customer meetings and assist account executives in preparing customer meetings
We would love to hear from you if you have:
A quantitative background with a bachelor’s degree in e.g. Economics, Mathematics or Computer Science
Hands-on experience with building mathematical or statistical models in a coding environment, e.g. R, Python or SAS
Prior experience with either operations research or text analytics
Good communication skills in both English and Danish
