The individual we are looking for will be ultimately accountable for design and execution of the sales strategies needed to grow customer value (confirmed hires) and revenue in the Mid-market and SMB segment of the Netherlands. This is someone who has the ability to foster a coaching culture, to support managers build the strategy of their sub-region, to drive execution, to develop their skills and to enhance their career. This person can engage with prospects and customers, establish trust and develop long term relationships. This individual can work with all internal functions, the country manager of the Benelux region and its org in order to build the business partnership required to support its team and business. Finally, this individual will be an active member of a high performing sales leadership team that creates growth (in all its forms), leading progressively and compassionately, in a manner that is generous, united and fun.

Performance Objectives

  • Inspire, lead and engage sales reps and sales managers towards the organisation vision, mission and sales goals

  • Build a strategy to accelerate the realisation of the LinkedIn vision for Netherlands Mid-Market and SMB

  • Effectively manage 1st Line managers (Train, Coach, Develop) so they can be successful at building sub-regional strategies and meeting their respective team’s sales goals and at accomplishing their own development goals

  • Drive customer value and to meet Sales Targets

  • Build an operating model balancing spirit of Entrepreneurship and Culture of discipline.

  • Contribute actively to the design of the Mid-Market & SMB overall sales strategy

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with leading managers in a sales environment

  • Experience of the Netherlands market or of multiple European Markets

  • Experience in Change Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with consumption (e.g. media) and subscription-based business sales model

  • Fluent Dutch language skills
