YOUR ROLE:

As an Events & Promotions Representative, you will educate customers on promotions and generate sales leads through relationships within the community. You will attend different local events including local night markets, junior hockey games, university events, home shows, boat shows, customer appreciation events, multicultural events and more! Your responsibilities will include:

  • Attend on-location events around the community

  • Present and sell TELUS products and services to new and existing customers

  • Use a consultative sales approach to build customer relationships as you help them select products that best meet their needs

  • Generate sales leads through direct residential marketing, partnered retail, tradeshows and dynamic community events

  • Identify, qualify and close potential sales

  • Manage and maintain customer relationships through the full sales process

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

You are passionate about self-development and driving the best results. Other skills and experience you possess include:

  • Natural communicator who excels at quickly making connections

  • Effective negotiator who is not afraid to close

  • Move quickly and think on your feet to solve problems

  • Motivated to grow and achieve your goals

  • Organized and proactive in staying on top of your work

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a bonus

  • You are at least 18 years of age or older and able to pass our criminal background check
