Responsible for the development, implementation, execution, and administration of the Expeditors’ Network Management Centre, including all Fleet Management activity for Google in Europe.
Person must be able to lead and motivate team across multiple locations.
Support NMC, including Fleet team in all aspects of their development.
Develop solid #2 to support operations, and ensure out of hours support is available
Ensure team meets company standards of 52 hours training per year per employee.
Ensure that all new hires within the NMC complete company’s mandatory training within the first 6 months.
Establish and maintain SOPs, internal metrics, and customer facing KPIs.
Report consistently and efficiently internally and to Google on all agreed measurements.
Set the standard for exceptional customer service and ensure Google’s expectations exceeded consistently.
Engage with Account Management team to understand Google’s tactical & strategic requirements.
Motivate team and embrace culture of innovation & continuous improvement.
Develop strategic relationships with key service providers, be involved in service provider contracts, statements of work & reviews.
Ensure excellent internal and external communications regarding Google activity
Manage capacity, equipment and optimal routings for Google
Ensure equipment requirements are in place at branches and hubs to facilitate operations and volatility
Own and deliver excellent exception management and corrective action process
Maintain excellent operational performance aligned with Google expectations e.g. (98% OTD)
Ensure the highest level of security and safety are maintained in all NMC operations
Play a leading role in all projects associated with Google surface transport in Europe
Manage all processes to do with SP rates and our rates to Google, including updates, accuracy, audits, billing and review.

Support IS Strategy with the rollout of Corporate System updates
Work with local and regional IS to develop tools & dashboards to increase the efficiency of the operation
Expeditors company policies and procedures knowledge
A good understanding of Expeditors’ products, services and systems
Strong market and competition knowledge
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a network operation developing / managing transportation, or five years in an Expeditors’ transportation department.
