Klook Learning & Knowledge Product Manager (HK) in Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Klook is a world leading and fast growing travel activities and services booking platform. Our team has traveled some distance - growing to over 1,000 people across more than 20 locations worldwide. We grow fast and experiment continuously, having a learning culture as a strategic asset. In order to continue growing and innovating we need to ensure employees develop as fast as possible.
We are looking for a Learning & Knowledge Product Manager. This role will be based in any of our Singapore, Hong Kong, or Shenzhen office as part of the People & Culture team. You will work with our Learning & Development Lead, based in Singapore. The role has a global reach, ensuring the best possible development of all our people, without taking ownership for development away from employees and their managers. We are building a small team of professionals who advise and enable teams throughout the organization to work on development. We set challenging targets, co-create content, co-facilitate, teach others to teach and coach, and provide systems to scale, measure, and exchange learning.
What you?ll do
The objective of this new role is scaling learning at Klook. We are at a critical point where we need to onboard many people, cater to continuous changes and experiments, and support people to further develop themselves functionally. Knowledge exists in many places and there are currently no good platforms in place to manage this and make information easily accessible, have experts share their insights, effectively manage changes in processes, let alone bring people up to speed quickly. This role allows for unbridled curiosity towards the functioning of the organization and how we can continuously improve. You will, among others:
Optimise scalable, online, solutions for knowledge and learning access
Enable effective sharing and updating of business processes across the organisation
Work with stakeholders to ensure effective communication of changes
Consult with and guide our various business units on learning program development. Analyse needs for learning and development programs. Track and measure impact.
Design and develop learning programs and content. Study and understand any aspect of the business and help make it teachable, scalable.
What you?ll need
Experience that can contribute to success in the role includes business and strategic consulting, software product development, and learning systems management. Familiarity with instructional design is helpful. (We are not looking for someone who manages outsourced training or someone without program design capability.)
Consulting and managing change is a pro. IT/internet business experience is too. An ability to bring perspectives from various sides of the business and facilitate outcomes is more important than extensive experience in HR L&D area.
Undergraduate degree from a top university expected; advanced degrees welcome. It is critically important to be smart, self-motivated, curious, collaborative, globally minded, energetic, hands-on, and adaptive. Flexibility and a sense of humor are a must.
English required and Chinese (Traditional and/or Simplified) desired.
What you?ll get
An environment that values honesty, transparency and respect with awesome co-workers across the world. The rare opportunity to be part of building a global travel brand, ensuring its success and evolving it for the future. The opportunity to learn about every aspect of this amazing tech company.
