Support in producing reliable financial and business information, including monthly/yearly results, forecast and budget, with effective analysis on financial and operation KPI. Proactively analyze financial impact of all impending business decisions and communicated effectively to support management decision making. Supporting business discussion with key stakeholders on pipeline, forecast and variance analysis. Act as a country support for system implementation.
What the role is all about?
Support and prepare monthly Finance Planning & Analysis function:
Perform monthly variance analysis against forecast / budget to support Commercial Controller’s discussion with HODs and finalise it with good commentaries on factors contributing to such variances
Perform monthly trend analysis on both financial and operation KPI, identify key red flags and opportunities
Perform pricing and profitability analysis and highlight reasons that contribute to key movement or variance.
Monthly update of information on Event P&L, Consumer Marketing analysis, Agent dashboard.
Work closely with Sales Ops team in driving reliable sales pipeline to support sales forecast.
Prepare Commercial journal related for month end activity and ensure commercial accounts are fairly and correctly stated in system.
Number of Headcount projection with close coordination with HR (Human Resources) as part of monthly forecast requirement
Prepare commission calculation for Sales, ensuring accuracy and timelines and half yearly initial assessment along with Sales Ops Team/Sales to drive effective commission scheme.
Commercial review on Business Agreement to ensure maximize Commercial value is achieved and clearly defined.
Marketing cost accountability by having close coordination with Head of Marketing to ensure cost are tracked and spend within budget, also build better accuracy on forecast spending.
T&E cost accountability and managing utilization of budget by having close coordination with HoD (Head of Department).
Assessment of ROI on marketing’s event ensuring ROI is on track and escalate to Commercial Controller if foresee any downturn of ROI.
Assist in other adhoc function (where applicable):
- Assist in implementation of finance tools and adhoc automation process
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with the following set of skills:
A minimum of bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Professional Qualification in Accounting, Financial Planning, Business Admin. or related field
At least 7 years of working experience in Commercial or Business Finance Analyst role or at similar capacity. Experience in Corporate Advisory or Audit with big consulting firm is an added advantage
Strong business and financial analytical skill
Good understanding of financial reporting
Result oriented and able to deliver on tight deadline
Strong interpersonal skill
Good business acumen and ability to identify key business drivers
Strong knowledge of MS Office and presentation tool
Knowledge with automated planning tool is an added advantage
Strong communication & presentation skill, both written and spoken
