Position Title: Heavy Duty Technician
Maintain and repair heavy equipment, working in the shop and various field locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Engine Diagnostic and repair experience would be an asset
Problem solving, repair and troubleshoot equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs
Service and repair equipment in the shop and on various field locations as required
Ability to frequently bend, squat, climb, lift and push/pull 45 pounds without assistance
Willing to perform some Automotive Services
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Complete work orders
Other duties as required
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Ability to work alone or part of a team
Working extended hours as overtime may be a requirement of this role
Journeyperson Heavy Duty Technician Certification (Red Seal an asset)
Minimum of 5 years Heavy Duty Technician experience
Experience working on John Deere equipment
Experience working on Excavators, Skid Steers, Sidebooms and Dozers
Must have valid drivers license
Must submit a successful Driver Abstract contingent to being selected for position
