OverviewThis position is primarily responsible for negotiating and drafting software license, maintenance, distribution and service agreements, teaming and partner agreements, conducting complex contracts negotiations, and otherwise supporting a broad range of transactional matters.What You'll Do

The job holder will be expected to perform the following: -

  • Work closely with Sales Operations and Revenue departments to help define and construct contract agreements and revenue models

  • Counsel Business Units and other organizations on contract negotiation objectives and strategy, general IP strategies and issues and/or dispute resolution with third parties

  • Act as a trusted advisor on legal issues to all levels of BU personnel, up to and including senior executives

  • Conduct due diligence for acquisitions, as needed

Who You Are

  • 5-10 years of experience handling licensing and commercial transactions at a publicly traded software company and, if an attorney, 1-3 years of law firm experience

  • Solid background in drafting and negotiating software licenses (including cloud, SaaS and hosted service services agreements), and related out-bound technology transactions agreements

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, challenging environment as part of a dynamic team of professionals

  • Ability to communicate effectively in group settings and before senior management.

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Well organized and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously under demanding deadline pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team orientation
