Job Description

The Customer Service specialist will be part of the Commercial Operations team reporting to the Senior Director leading the team. The Customer Service Specialist has the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

· To plan and foresee workload ensuring that adequate prioritization is applied ensuring all open orders are delivered on time in full.

· Work closely with our commercial and manufacturing partners to secure adequate stocking levels.

· Ensure on time in full market supply is delivered consistent with GDP/GMP compliance

· Manage all third party logistic suppliers ensuring GDP compliance is adhered to at all times. Manage oversight of all service level agreements.

· To work closely with Gilead Commercial stakeholders optimizing processes to enable speed of product to patients providing support to the commercial organization with timely responses to enquiries

· Participate in regular monthly/quarterly business reviews with commercial operations.

· Maintain accuracy of the Supply Chain Customer Services Master Data process in line with associated KPI’s.

· Lead and/or participate in Projects/Initiatives across Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain supporting all supply chain optimization initiatives.

· Provide monthly KPI reports to Business Units and Commercial teams.

· Liaising with Manufacturing to ensure accuracy regarding schedule adherence

· Review accuracy on customer forecast information to support all planning activities

· Establish adequate communication channels with Customers to gather the information needed for planning and implementation plans.

· Secure on time and accurate order management process.

· Process improvement and innovation

Professional skills/knowledge

· Previous experience in a Customer Services role within a Pharmaceutical and Supply chain environment.

· Thorough knowledge of Logistics Supply chain management

· Understanding of Forecasting and Supply and Demand Supply Chain models

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence in a positive manner

· Excellent organisational and planning skills

· Excellent understanding of ERP systems specifically Oracle

· Excellent understanding of MS office

· Understanding of Quality Management and compliance systems within the Pharmaceutical industry

· Drive manage and drive projects to completion

· Ability to generate appropriate and robust business relationships with customers

· Deal with difficult customer communications

· Ability to influence customers where necessary

· Work within a dynamic Team environment

· Fluent English speaker and writer
