Willis Towers Watson Senior Account Executive - Construction in Madrid, Spain

The Role

Senior Account Executive has the responsibility for managing the client relationship. This role, leverages Willis Towers Watson resources to provide coordinated service and placement to meet the client’s insurance and risk management needs. Because of the Senior Account Executive’s strong connection to the client’s business and fundamental understanding of its Construction industry, this relationship is a business partnership with the client’s decision makers. Through their understanding of the business, the Senior Account Executive identifies cross selling opportunities and maximizes the profitability of the account.

Responsibilities

Senior Account Executive with primary focus on construction Sector with a high level of technical knowledge and Experience in the area of Construction Insurance .

The candidate will have the ability to work alone and be self-motivated, as well as being a good team member.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Conduct Risk: To put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ability to understand the client’s business, situations, opportunities, problems and key issues

  • Ability to build and manage relationships and negotiate placement with the Insurance markets.

  • Prepare market presentations

  • Work with Account Executives in determining appropriate solutions for the Key Clients.

  • Identify appropriate markets and determine placing strategy

  • Create and grow relationships with the risk managers of the Clients

  • Ensure continuing compliance with Willis Towers Watson guidelines and procedures.

  • Ensure good relationships and communication with other Willis Towers watson associates in different Business Units

  • Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required

The Requirement s

Qualifications:

  • Graduate level qualification with understanding of the technical aspects of construction and operation of industrial facilities.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in industry experience in the Insurance Sector and / or Construction industry

Skills:

  • English Level (Advanced)

  • Technical (Insurance) skills

  • Ability to assimilate and apply large volumes of information rapidly

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team

  • Ability to prioritise, manage deadlines and work under pressure

  • Comfortable explaining complex concepts and making recommendations to clients/client servicing teams

  • Ability to adapt personal style to work effectively with a range of colleagues and underwriters

  • Must be prepared to work with integrity and openness

  • Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service

  • Strong practical knowledge of varied types of construction projects (PPP, other)

  • Working knowledge of insurance markets globally in order to deal effectively with client and Willis Towers Watson needs
