  • The Talent and Learning Team consult across the Asia Pacific franchise, aiming to maximize organizational performance to meet current and future business objectives

  • This is achieved by partnering with the business to identify opportunities and initiatives relating to the development of capability, talent, and leaders; diversity and inclusion; and business performance

  • Our team is responsible for identifying, analyzing, sourcing/developing, implementing, and evaluating solutions for businesses, in full partnership and collaboration with relevant business leaders, HR and regional/global colleagues

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactive oversight of all regional Talent & Learning Implementation activities to ensure operational efficiency, consistency and cost effectiveness whilst maintaining the highest quality standards

  • Responsible for driving continuous operational effectiveness and ensuring that the organizational structure is aligned to evolving business needs

  • Provide effective leadership to the team:Hire, coach, develop and retain team members, ensuring each one is continually building upon their skills and capabilities

  • Build manager capability and a strong succession pipeline within the Implementation Services team

  • Act as the conduit between Talent & Learning Advisors and internal/ external solutions teams to implement their Talent & Learning needs; responsible for the smooth and effective delivery and implementation of multiple regional talent and learning programs to achieve client outcomes, within time and budget scope

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all colleagues and stakeholders, including Talent and Learning Advisory team, Talent & Learning Shared Services, country business training teams, regional and global partners

  • Provide regional oversight of the Learning Management System and own the relationship with Talent & Learning Shared Services

  • In partnership with Talent & Learning Shared Services, deliver a Talent & Learning dashboard of critical metrics that drive decisions and enable us to demonstrate continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with in-country partners to ensure consistency of program management approach and learner and vendor experience

  • Provide oversight on the in-take and governance of instructor-led training programs, including budgeting, coordinating of training venues, technical equipment, support/facilities, catering, travel arrangements, and identifying and booking faculty (internal and external), other logistics and communications and coordinate with Talent & Learning Shared Services for deployment support

  • Provide oversight and review the training nomination/registration process and tracking registration trends; support the Talent & Learning Advisors with recommendations on the learning programs to meet business initiatives and priorities

  • Represent Talent & Learning Implementation Services from an Asia perspective and share best practices globally

Qualifications

  • Clear awareness of Talent, Diversity, Learning and Performance purpose and offerings in the local/regional and internal/external context

  • Outstanding relationship skills, so as to enable the development of productive and trusted relationships within Talent & Learning, HR (globally, regionally and locally), and other internal and external partners

  • Accountability and execution, consistently operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within required timeframes. Ensures decisions are made, and outcomes delivered

  • Superior communication, consulting and influencing skills

  • Ability to collaborate, challenge and influence internal stakeholders at various levels in a matrixed environment

  • Capable of performing effectively in complex situations with limited guidance, and unafraid to challenge the status quo

  • Self-starter who is positive, energetic, highly organized and able to prioritize and act upon the critical issues whilst keeping communication channels open to relevant stakeholders

  • Commitment to quality and experience in successfully redesigning processes to maximize effectiveness and minimize cost

  • Strong analysis and decision making capability; able to identify and understand the primary issues, problems and opportunities and develop appropriate solutions

  • Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects and adapt to rapidly evolving and changing priorities; displaying resilience and flexibility

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, project management and process management skills
