Samsung Electronics America Logistics Innovation Coordinator in Milano, Italy
This position is a key role in Supply Chain Logistics Innovation of Samsung. Being in charge of Logistics BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) management, she/he will governance logistics operation process and detect the daily issues, manage VOC of internal & external customers, regularly report Logistics Performance KPI and Logistics cost analysis to Corporate Operation Director, and Top management. She/he needs to work closely with internal customers (Sales divisions & Operation divisions) and collaborate with external vendors and with customers to support seamless logistics operation and to enhance logistics innovation.
Role and Responsibilities
Support Corporate Innovation manager for Logistics BPO management
Prepare the agenda and coordinate Bi-Monthly Supply Chain Logistics committee
Logistics Process review and improvement, after implementation and controlling the performances
Performing Weekly/Monthly reports of Logistics Operation KPI
Finding daily operation issues / pre-alert to relevant teams / resolving issues for end month operation & sales maximization
Scenario simulation based logistics cost analysis / execute cost saving actions
End to end logistics operation management with logistics service provider(Production – Export – Transportation – Import – In stock – Departure – POD In shop)
Coordinating key logistics initiative & improvement projects locally driven by European HQ
Support Logistics Vender selection (RFQ) & Evaluate 3PL KPI management
Monitor and control reverse logistics (Technical / Commercial Return, Concealed damage, Scrap)
Regular visit in Samsung & Customers Warehouse
Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background: Master / Bachelor in SCM, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics Operation
Professional Background: 1 - 3 years’ experience in Logistics Operation, Cost Control & Financial Analysis, Project Management experience preferred
Computer Knowledge: Excellent Office package especially Excel
Language Knowledge: Good written & spoken English & Italian
Travel required: less than 20%
Others: Excellent analytical skill and biz. acumen, good communication skill with customers or with other teams, good coordination skills between sales and operation
