Charles River Laboratories is a contract research organization, established for more than 70 years, offering preclinical services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, to assist in the development of new medications. With an international reputation, our technical expertise and science is recognized worldwide.

We are currently looking for anAssistant Technician for summer 2019 in our Histology division.


  • Maintain the Histo-pathology depot.

  • Apply histology techniques: dissection, circulation, coating, cut out of paraffin or plastic, colouring and quality control.

  • Prepare the necessary material for the different activities (laboratory supplies).

  • Recycling of solutions and prepare solutions.

  • Maintain the material and the laboratories clean and orderly.

    We are seeking a candidate who:

  • Possesses a DES or relevant work experience. DEC in Sciences in way of graduation.

  • Understand and follow the standard operation procedures (SOP) and the good laboratory practices (GLP).

  • Is able to manipulate items of 30 lbs.

  • Is a team player.

  • Able to work with a computer.

Employment Status:Temporary, all summer (May to end of August).

WORK LOCATION: Senneville (Montreal, Quebec)
