Treasury Specialist - SpecCo (Job Number: TRE00001021)


As a member of the Global Treasury Team, the Treasury specialist will be responsible for a variety of activities supporting global treasury operations, internal controls and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in Global Treasury Integration / Centering Projects

  • Perform day-to-day support of Electronic Banking Systems to end users

  • Assist/lead tasks related to banking system simplification and standardization, including installation and documentation

  • Perform Settlements / Confirmations related to Capital Markets, Short Term Investments, Foreign Exchange, Intercompany Loans, Interbank transfers and Borrowings

  • Perform daily Cash Forecasting / Positioning of Global / Regional Currency pools

  • Follow established standard operating procedures and recommend updates and/or changes when required

  • Assess problems quickly and provide the appropriate resolution steps with the least amount of end user interruption

  • Drive Process Improvement and Standardization

  • Review and update of Global Operating / desk procedures

  • Promote adherence to internal control standards and promote security awareness to ensure system security

Major Challenges

  • Coordination and execution of Treasury transactions which involve: large cash amounts, multiples currencies, adherence to cut-off times and coordination with Legal Entities across the globe.

  • Adapt quickly to a very dynamic environment.

  • Interpersonal and organizational skills are essential

  • Proactive identification and independent resolution of Treasury matters.

Remark: This position requires flexible schedule to support daily LA / NA Operations (11.00-20.00)



  • Bachelor degree in accounting or related fields

  • 2+ years of experience in finance

  • Prior experience in Treasury preferred

  • Prior experience in electronic banking system administration/implementation

  • Ability to use SAP R/3 financial modules

  • Highly fluent in English
