As a Marketing Consultantfor Hydraulic Excavators, you will have responsibility for developingcore content to support HEX new machine introductions. This requires knowledgeof machines, as well as customers and their purchase criteria and behaviors.This position develops and executes content that 1) creates positive customerexperiences online; 2) provides sales support for dealer and field teams; 3)supports go to market commercial strategies; and 4) ensures NPI marketingreadiness is achieved.
Job Duties/Responsibilities mayinclude but are not limited to:
Supporting Digital First Work Stream Lead in GCI’s Go To Market Strategy - ensure alignment with training and segmented marketing work streams
Developing, writing and delivering core content and materials for HEX, with a focus on technical specifications documents
Working collaboratively with GCI Global and Regional Product Application Specialists and HEX engineering teams to ensure accurate and consistent marketing communication
Working with enterprise process owners or outside suppliers to execute and publish content
Adhere to core content and go to market budgets
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business
2 years marketing or technical document creation experience
Knowledge of Cat Excavators
Experience writing product marketing, training, or sales support content: Creation of content in written English (for global translations) is required.
Ability to work independently – to implement, execute, and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational, planning and communication skills
- Cat field or dealer experience
