Sell Specialty Plastics products in different market segments industries, such as Packaging, Cosmetic, Housewares, Appliance, Medical, Retailor & Constructions and etc.
Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success.
Develop and grow the commercial relationships of assigned customers and increase sales revenue by obtaining new projects.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call reports, TMP (Territory Management Plans), etc.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques, etc.
Work independently for new applications spec-in.
Co-work with local distribution channel to develop new projects, and understand market situation.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing objectives.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT(INCLUDING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
Bachelor and above; MBA is a plus
7-10+ years sales experience in plastics industry.
Strong communication skills and strong drive to move through the matrix.
Good business acumen, prospecting and negotiation skill.
Highly motivated individual and high degree of self-reliance and initiative.
Previous experience in distributor is a plus
Fluent in English and Japanese.
