Position Purpose & Summary

Cargill’s AgricultureSupply Chain in North America (CASCNA) is implementing SAP over the next 4years.The Process Deployment Lead –Supply Chain, leads the effort to define product line specific businessrequirements, ensures successful deployment of the SAP systems & processesthat will be used to manage our supply chain from our farm customer to our end usecustomers.This includes process &system testing, as well as responsible for the end user training for theirdesignated area, and assists with functional stabilization efforts. The ProcessDeployment Lead – Supply Chain will report to theProcess Implementation Lead (PIL) -Operations and Supply Chain. The ability to develop an understanding ofinterdependencies across process areas is a critical skill for success in thisrole. This role requires significant collaboration and teamwork within CASCNA,within CASC, Corporate, and with Global IT.

BOSC – Supply Chain- 36-48 months – START May 1 2019


50% -Leadimplementation of system and process deployment for primary functional area.Responsibilities include: documenting business specific knowledge and gatheringbusiness requirements, validating system configuration and processes meetbusiness needs, accessing and building non-system enabled business processes,ensuring functionality is appropriately tested and trained, and the business issuccessfully stabilized with the new systems. Ensures consistent implementationof system configuration and processes throughout the organization that arereviewed and approved by Process Sponsors.

30% - Change Management - Support Change Leadwith execution of change plan; promote processchange in organization. They will work with Process Implementation Lead,Process Sponsors, and HR in identification and staffing of Super Users. They will be directly responsible for Super Users, onboarding, task allocation,day-to-day work direction, goal setting, one-on-one discussions, and support,Support Super Users’ Manager in Performance Management and Year-End reviews.Identify and lead optimization activities related to

BOSC with subject matter experts and superusers.

10% - Project Planning & Control - Regularlymeasures and monitors project progress to identify variances from the plan andmake needed corrections for implementation. Contains and resolves issues withinthe project that do not require Process Implementation Leads & ProcessSponsor attention. Defines deployment objectives and scope, and partners withthe project manager to develop the Integrated Project Plan. Ensureorganizational readiness and commitment to ongoing enhancements, optimizationand value realization activities.

10% - SupportValue Realization Activities: Lead efforts in collaboration with the PIL’s andProcess Sponsors which deliver value from system (people, process, data, andtechnology) improvements. Implement, maintain and communicate metrics to tracksolution stabilization and value captured through optimization initiatives.

This position is postedinternally & externally

This position may be able to beworked virtually, for employee(s) already working in their current country.

Role is project based lastingup to 48 months


Education, Experience,Skills

Minimum RequiredQualifications

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of work experience within the supplychain function

  • Previous experience working on high impactprojects and change management initiatives

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate withand manage the expectations of senior management stakeholders to driveorganizational and process changes

  • Strong analytical skills; capable of breakingdown complex issues and identifying key drivers; can identify cross processupstream and downstream impacts

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, facilitate, andcommunicate with individuals across a broad range of education, experience, andfunctional spectrums

P r efer r ed Qualifications

  • 7 years of work experience in supply chain function , or related field;with 2 years in a supervisory/management position

  • Experience with ERP systems

  • Experience working in the SAP solution

  • Project management/PPM experience

  • Knowledge of CASCNA product line value chainsand work processes

  • Very strong ability and appetite to learn andapply new concepts

Other relevant informationto the position

In general this rolewill require you to travel up to 25% of the time; however, at times in thedeployment it can be up to 50% of the time.
