Experian Senior Data Analyst in United Kingdom
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst to join our expanding Data Office based in Nottingham. The TRAS Senior Data Analyst is accountable for the development and delivery of the solution, insight and capability using best practice analytical techniques and following established quality procedures to help guarantee the robustness of the solution. In this role you will have a greater input in to the solution development and ownership of more complex projects.

It is also dedicated to providing insight into data spanning many industries and sectors and using that insight to drive product and data strategy through innovation.
Key Responsibilities: * Support delivery of the TRAS solution, insight, capability and products using best practice analytical methodologies. * Actively seek to learn and deploy new approaches, tools, methodologies and technology to ensure the best possible solution to each problem is found * Lead the resolution of data or analytical problems which may impact on results. * Share findings with peers from other stakeholders including management where required * Communicate ideas in knowledge sharing forums * Leads the creation of a culture delivering quality for all data sent to clients/customers * Engages with account managers, internal teams and the clients to identify potential new projects, scope these out and present to stakeholders for prioritisation. * Actively contribute to a culture that achieves the business goals, delights customers and keeps consumer advocacy at the heart of everything we do. * Ensure that good client / consumer outcomes are at the centre of all operational activity and decision making.
- Good understanding of relevant legislation and regulation as they relate to our analytical solutions
- Expert knowledge of Experian bureau data and value-added products and how these are used by clients
- Experience working in an analytical role in a Financial Services or Utilities sector
- Strong project management skills, with significant experience of analytics project work.
- PC/MF literate with experience in the use of statistical (e.g., SAS / Python / R) and IT packages
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- An innovative and inquisitive mind, focused on addressing and solving data and analysis problems.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills used to influence internal and client stakeholders
- Demonstrable commercial awareness
- Degree or equivalent standard, with a high mathematical content e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, Physical Sciences. _Why choose us?_ _ _
