As an internal audit professional, you will be leading engagements to identify control enhancements, operational and compliance process improvement and efficiency opportunities, as well as company-wide cost improvements. As a risk professional, you’ll be focused on helping our clients develop an integrated and sustainable approach to risk and control that encompasses a holistic view of people, process and technology.
Skills and Attributesfor Success
Executing Job planning:Conducting research on client background and risks, planning staffresource and propose tailored audit work program and audit time schedules,coordinate with client on kick off meeting with client and other necessaryplanning activities.
Performing testing of complex /non-routine audit areas, complete work programs including conductinginterviews with Senior Management, provide guidance to junior teammember(s), review the work of junior team member(s), schedule closingmeeting with client and prepare closing meeting slides.
Reporting: Prepare draft andfinal reports after the necessary internal reviews, wrap up audit workprograms and workfiles, and assist in any other wrap up activities.
Developing and maintainingproductive working relationships with client personnel
Build strong internalrelationships within EY Advisory Services and with other services acrossthe organization
Conducting performance reviewsand contribute to performance feedback for staff
Contributing to peopleinitiatives, including recruiting and retaining Risk professionals
Contributing to an educationalprogram to continually develop interpersonal and technical skills of staff
Understanding and followworkplace policies and procedures
ToQualify for the role you must have
Recognized Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Finance, Business or other related field
At least 5 complete years ofexperience gained in an internal auditing/line position in a commercialenvironment, or in a big public accounting firm
Proficiency with MS Office andVisio
International businessexperience preferred
Strong analytical, interpersonaland communication skills
Demonstrated integrity, values,principles, and work ethics
Strong analytical,interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent command of spoken andwritten English
Willingness to travel onoverseas assignments
Ideally, you’ll alsohave
- Industry related certification(e.g., CPA/CA, CIA, CMA, RICS)
