PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP’s Global Procurement Organization (GPO) combines all SAP procurement units. GPO significantly improves SAP's performance by leveraging the overall purchasing power and realizing sustainable savings in procurement projects.
GPO serves all SAP employees with state of the art procurement processes, systems and tools in various areas of their daily business. From purchasing goods and services, to taking care of all travel requirements, we are the service provider for all SAP employees.
However, we are not limited to such, also the entire procurement for Third Party Services, Facility, IT, Marketing and Mobility (containing Car Fleet and Travel) lies in our responsibility.
To be able to support the above-mentioned targets, to be prepared for upcoming challenges from the changing environment and to stay ahead of trends GPO needs to evolve into a strategic function. In this regard, GPO, will have to position itself as a business value enabler and to fully concentrate on the needs of its internal and external partners, suppliers and customers. An optimal communication and collaboration with all relevant parties as part of the entire ecosystem internally and externally as well as safeguarding Compliance will be imperative.

In addition, the Digital Economy is now and growing rapidly, digital trends and innovations in general are impacting the Procurement function of the future.
In this regard, SAP´s Global Procurement Organization is looking for an encouraged new team member to support the Chief Procurement Officer.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Being the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholder
Support in daily operations regarding time management, prioritization etc.
Manage calendar (maintain/prioritize and organize meetings) within her / his areas of responsibility
Manage inbox (track emails / respond post discussion with the manager)
Follow up and track all open items and action on them appropriately
Coordinate travel arrangements arise from customer, supplier and other stakeholder meetings
Prepare reports, slides and graphic presentations as required
Fully committed to discretion and loyalty
Contribution in small projects
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Successful passed vocational training in admin, legal or banking; Bachelor degree is preferred
Excellent supporting and organizations skills and an ability to keep track of tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines
Ability to work independently with multiple and complex tasks with strong prioritization ability included
Ability to work in a virtual and international environment – demonstrate flexibility to adapt and lead the change
Passion, the ability to work under pressure, a high level of initiative, dedication to take responsibility and ensuring quality are essential way of working is very structured, self-directed and organized
Excellent know how of MS Office products - Outlook, Word and Power Point - and very good knowledge of the main internal systems at SAP (such as ISP, CSS, Corporate Portal)
Excellent skills in English and German
Profound communication skills (written and verbal) to senior leaders
(First) Proven experience working in a fully confidential environment.
